This Term of Use defines the operation, access and use of the “Services” offered by CosmetiClear. As well as the information, text and photos (“Content”) used by our Services. The use of these Services implies the unreserved acceptance of these Conditions. These may be modified without prior notice.

1. Presentation

CosmetiClear is a service that analyzes information about the composition of cosmetic products. Understand by these terms that the CosmetiClear application clearly details, explains the function, and evaluates each ingredient listed on the product labeling in order to translate technical and specific terms into a language more accessible to the general public, and also with the aim of evaluating the composition and give a note.

2. Operation

The application captures public information about the composition of the ingredients present in the product labeling and, through its own algorithm, has a system that analyzes them and provides a Score from 0 to 100.

Under no circumstances can a brand or merchant influence the ranking of a product by the algorithm. All products are classified in the same way and there is no possible exception.

CosmetiClear relies on third-party information when it comes to product information and ingredient information. To the best of our ability to ensure the accuracy of the information you provide across all services, we reserve the right to correct any errors, omissions or post updates to any part of our content without prior notice. However, we rely on data obtained from various sources, so we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information or any analysis that uses this information.

CosmetiClear assumes no responsibility for inaccuracies about products, whether based on manufacturer information, third party information, or ratings and reviews generated by us. You should carefully read all information provided by product manufacturers, either online or on the product packaging and labels, including ingredients, health claims and allergen information before using a product. For additional information about a product, contact the manufacturer directly. We also encourage you to conduct the appropriate research and obtain the necessary medical advice to determine the best cosmetic or personal care product for your needs.

Product recommendations made by the app are not intended to replace advice provided by a qualified healthcare professional. You should always consult your doctor for more information about what products you should and should not use.

Our ratings, rankings and scores are simply opinions we form based on scientific articles and data obtained from various governmental and non-governmental organizations. As such, the ingredient rating should not be considered a factual representation or warranty about a product or manufacturer.

3. Of the products

The insertion of products in our database is done independently, prevailing over any commercial interests, and its main objective is to clarify information that is already public, which is in the public right to information, provided for in the Federal Constitution and in the Code of Consumer Protection and Defense.

For a better identification of the products by its users, CosmetiClear publishes, next to the classification of a product, the image of the respective packaging, which usually contains the trademark belonging to the manufacturer. This type of publication does not have the character of commercial exploitation of the brand and, therefore, cannot be prevented and is not subject to the authorization of the respective owners, as provided by law.

4. Usage rules

You must not disclose private information about yourself or another user.

You must not share any referral codes or affiliate links in the Content.

You must not abuse the features to harm our Services.

You must not use our Services for any illegal purpose.

You must not attempt to access or gain access to non-public areas of our Services.

You must not knowingly compromise the security of our Services or interfere with their operation.

You agree not to use the Services to collect, upload, transmit, display or distribute any User Content that is unlawful, harassing, tortuous, threatening, harmful, abusive, invasive of another person’s privacy, vulgar, defamatory, false, intentionally misleading commercially defamatory, pornographic, obscene, patently offensive (for example, material that promotes racism, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual) or objectionable material of any type or nature or that is harmful to minors in any way. form.

Any violation of these rules may result in sanctions by CosmetiClear: we will delete without prior notice the Content that does not comply with these rules. We will suspend your account temporarily or permanently.

5. Access and use of the Service

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, withdraw or limit access to our services at any time.

The use of our services must be done in accordance with the rules of use and these Conditions.

We cannot guarantee the continuity of our services in case of exceptional events or force majeure beyond our control. However, we will make every effort to correct any complications or bugs that may appear in our services as soon as possible.

During your use, advertisements may be displayed on our services.

Some products may display affiliate links from partner sites. Only offers provided by our partners will be offered. Therefore, not all offers are available on the Internet. We will receive compensation if the user buys the said product on the partner’s website, as long as it is done through our link.

In order to continue to maintain and develop our project, we offer the user the option of subscribing to the application’s Monthly Subscription service.

This is essential to continue to maintain and develop our CosmetiClear services, support its existence, and allow us to continue to expand and improve our database.
By subscribing and purchasing a Monthly Subscription, you agree and acknowledge that your subscription will automatically renew for successive monthly periods and your payment method will be automatically charged for each successive monthly period at the then-current subscription rate until you cancel your monthly subscription renewal .

To cancel your Monthly Subscription at any time, you can:

(i) login to your Google Play account (for Android apps) or Apple Store (for iOs apps) and follow the cancellation procedures.

(ii) send us a message to cancel@cosmeticlear.com and we’ll do it for you.

If you cancel, you will be able to use your subscription until the end of the current subscription term.

(iii) Important: by uninstalling the application, your subscription will not be cancelled.

6. Your user account

Our services require the creation of a user account. While we have implemented various measures to protect your account, you are responsible for protecting your account. We advise you to use a password that you will only use for the services offered by CosmetiClear and not share it with anyone.

7. Cancellation and deletion of data

If you do not agree to our Terms, then you must not use our Services.

If you have a user account, you can write to privacy@cosmeticlear.com to delete your account and your registered data.

We reserve the right to delete an account and its content in case of violation of our rules of use or non-compliance with our Conditions.
