1. Information processed and collected

1.1 Your account

When creating a user account, you must choose a username (also called a nickname or pseudonym), indicate your e-mail address, your telephone number and choose a password. This information is collected by CosmetiClean when you complete the registration and will be saved for an indefinite period until a request to delete your account is received.

Your username is visible if you decide to create a rating/review on a product page.

Your email address is private (not visible to other users) and allows you to reset your password if needed.

Your password is private and secure thanks to so-called “hash” and “salt” methods.

1.2 Your history

By default, when you are logged into your user account using our apps, the history of the products you scan is saved on our servers. This allows you to easily find the previously viewed product.

When you are not logged in, history is saved on your device and we do not collect this information. If you uninstall the app, perform a reset or switch devices, your history will be lost.

1.3 Statistical analysis

On our websites, we use Google Analytics statistical analysis and audience measurement tools. Our mobile applications use the tools offered by Firebase (a company belonging to Google).

These tools measure, among other things, the number of unique visitors, the number of pages or screens consulted, the average time of a session (from opening to closing the site or application), the origin of an Internet user when possible, reports of failures (unexpected closing of the application linked to an error), information about the device used.

Your IP address has been anonymized and we make sure these tools collect as little data as possible. Furthermore, we guarantee that we cannot associate this statistical data with your user account information.

This data is important for tracking the evolution of our audience over time, setting priorities according to observed uses of our Services, and fixing issues that cause crashes as quickly as possible.

1.4 Ads

Our mobile applications use the solution offered by the advertising company AdMob, owned by Google.

Our websites use the Google AdSense advertising network.

1.5 Sharing and transferring data

The personal data we collect on our behalf is not shared with third parties. We consider, as you do, that this personal data is just like that. Therefore, they must remain under our protection with strict control over their use.

1.6 Application Signature

Your payment information will be processed directly by the Apple Store or Google Play.

We therefore have no access to your payment or credit card information.
